Cab & Cab tilt    The Dennis SS series cab is of steel and glass fibre construction.
The windscreen is a one piece laminated & all other windows are of safety glass

Cooling system   the engine has a pressurised, thermostatically controlled closed circuit cooling system
Tank capacities  -: fuel ;diesel is 125 litres:  water is 1600 litres:  AFFF is 200 litres
the water and foam tank are made of polyethylene and are fully baffled. the foam tank is fitted with a contents sight tube located on the nearside back of the appliance and the water tank is fitted with a contents gauge mounted on the pump gauge panel
Electrical   24 volt negative earth system. Vehicle charging is by engine mounted alternator.
Generators   there are 2haverhill portable 110V generators, one powered from the appliance, provides the supply for the mast lights (1500w) and 2x socket outlets located on the nearside of the appliance.
The other   a 1.5KW  110V portable generator is supplied with the vehicle, is to be used for portable tools and lighting
Air Starter   has an Ingersoll rand air starter fitted, the dedicated air reservoir is charged from the vehicle air system through a multi-circuit protection valve
Amendola roof monitor  electrically operated, controls are in the pump locker. horizontal capabilities of 345 degrees and vertical travel of 135 degrees. operating at 6 bars it will have a throw of 60 metres (jet) a narrow fog 40 metres and a wide fog 23 metres.
Fire Pump   Godiva GMA, output of 5300 lmp 4 x 70 mm female outlets. a separate fixed supply to the roof monitor. the pump can be used for high volume low pressure output (deliveries) or for low volume high pressure output (hose reels), or both simultaneously. AFFF and round the pump foam capabilities are also available. Priming the pump is achieved automatically by means of a trinity water ring primer.
